BOO
Lenape Tracking Club's first VST test on Father's Day, June 20, 2010. The last track of the day. Heat and humidity had been climbing all morning when Maura Hogan and CT Montage Surfs Up VCD2, CDX, PT known as "Boo" headed to the start flag.
Working steadily, Maura and Boo traversed the 640 yard track in 52 minutes. The five turn track included working around a parking garage and three dorm buildings, a open "quad" area between the buildings, a groundhog and several squirrels.
One leg included 175 yards of shadow behind a building and 50 yards of blinding light entering the parking lot. Boo, working intently, covered the long leg at a moderate pace, made her MOT and then motored to the final article.
Maura stood near Boo with a questioning look until Boo dropped on the article and looked back as if to say, "finally, you let me do it!" Tears fell and spectators screamed as Maura held the article up before dropping to the ground to hug Boo.
